Astro Gong Yoga Kundalini and Sound Healing

AGY: What is your Astrology Sign and how do you relate to it?

Ramona: Aquarius! Ever since I was a little girl, I knew it to be my sign. My chart reads as very air dominant and I’m also a complete channel for space, which gives me the ability to be very forward thinking in my communication.

AGY: How did you get into Yoga?

Ramona: My mom used to go to an ashram and was into Ayurveda and it inspired me to pay attention in a different way.  In college I was taking classes at Golden Bridge in Hollywood and that was where I became hooked.

AGY: Why are you passionate about teaching yoga?

Ramona: I’m passionate about teaching yoga because the practice allows for us to go within and connect to source energy. I love challenging others to see another angle and find peace.

AGY:  What’s your favorite favorite mantra?

Ramona: Sat nam. This translates to “truth is my identity.”

AGY:  What is your favorite inspirational quote?

Ramona: “Your haters are your teachers.”

AGY:  What is your spirit animal and why?

Ramona:  The hummingbird because they seem to defy the laws of physics and remind us that anything is possible.

AGY: Who has been your biggest mentor on your spiritual path?

Ramona:  I read a lot of books and the wisdom I received from many on their path has inspired me, like Paramahansa Yogananda, Steve Jobs, Ram Dass.

AGY:  Describe yourself in three words:

Ramona: Forward, loving, progressive!

AGY:  What is the most daring thing you’ve ever done?

Ramona: Quit my career to teach yoga.

AGY:  What is one thing you have learned from quarantine?

Ramona: We only have the present moment.
